Cook

The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota, have an open position for a Cook. The part-time or full-time position involves rotating between morning cook 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and evening cook 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., includes every other weekend and holiday as morning cook (56 - 72 hours every two weeks) at the Motherhouse of the Franciscan Sisters in our private, small, homey, wholistic, person-centered assisted living care center. The position is responsible for preparing meals. Prefer previous experience in large quantity cooking and food prep; but will train for the position.  

Requires passing a pre-employment screening including lifting 35 pounds and Minnesota DHS required background study.

This position may include working in the dish room, kitchen prep and other areas or shifts as needed.

As an example, 56 hours (7 shifts) as cook per two-week pay period:

First Week:

          Monday 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

          Tuesday 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

          Saturday 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Second Week:

          Sunday 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

          Monday 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

          Thursday 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

          Friday 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Starting Wage: $18 - $19
